Thank You to All My Customers

Well, dear friends, we are officially done with all craft shows for this 2011 year.  I want to thank you all so very much for visiting us at our booths throughout the past few weeks, for taking the time to meet and get to know us better, and for trying out our soy candles and wax tarts.  We want you to know that we appreciate you so very much!!  I loved meeting every one of you and chatting with you.  It is the highlight of doing the craft shows!  They are a lot of tiring work, but you all make it worth every moment.

Even though our craft show season has ended for this year, we are still selling our elegant soy candles.  We still have plenty of already made candles, ready for immediate sale, and we also take special orders any time.  Remember that we give discounts for refills in your containers and that we are a local business in the Colorado Springs/Monument/Tri-Lakes area.  Don’t forget all our candles and wax tarts have a 100% satisfaction guarantee!

A MOST SINCERE THANK YOU TO ALL!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or requests for more candle or wax tart purchases.  I’ll be posting a list of all fragrances we currently have available in already made, ready to sell, candles and wax tarts.

For Our November 19, 2011 Rampart HS Craft Show Customers

To all our customers who purchased candles from us today and did not get a print out of our Candle Burning Tips (because we ran out of handouts), please be sure to review them here on this website and print them out so that you will get the best results from your candles.

And don’t forget that we guarantee our candles.  Please see our “Satisfaction Guarantee” which is also detailed on this website.

Thanks for stopping by our booth today! We sure enjoyed meeting every one of you and getting to chat with you.

We’ll be at Doherty HS the first weekend in December for their Saturday and Sunday craft show.

The Tri-Lakes PC Guy - Local Computer Help

I wanted to let all my soy candle fans know that my husband, Michael, is awesome with computers. At home, we like to say that he's got "the vibe". We'll be having a computer problem and just him drawing near to come help us makes the problem stop happening! :-)

Seriously, though, he loves to get computers set up and running smoothly, installing software, doing clean up to increase speed, and teaching others how to work with their computers. He also does excellent work with setting up the HP Touchpad, if any of you happened to get one before they were all gone.

If you need some computer help, he is a very personable and reasonable source of help in the Tri-Lakes and Colorado Springs areas.

Check out his Facebook page.

Using Soy Candles to Moisturize the Skin

Did you know that you can use your candle as a skin moisturizer?  Because soy wax is an all-natural vegetable wax it makes a nice moisturizer.  After extinguishing your candle, allow the wax to cool a bit, gently dip your fingers into the soft wax, and rub on your skin.  Be sure to keep away from eyes, nose, and mouth.

I am surprised by how many customers tell me that they like to use their soy candles as a moisturizer and have never been told that some of the fragrances are not skin safe.  All soy candle makers should make this information available to their customers.

Please be certain that the fragrance used in the candle is skin safe.  Not all fragrance oils are safe for topical use and could irritate your skin or cause an adverse allergic reaction.  If you are wondering which ones of our fragrances are skin safe, please ask.

Are Melting Pots Completely Fire Proof?

Interesting bit of information for today.

I know a lot of people have stopped buying candles and instead are trusting their melting pots with wax tarts to safely be on and unattended while they are away from home.  However, this was just my mother in law's status on her Facebook:  "I am thankful that my house did not burn down today when a Scentsy caught fire. Burnt a circle into antique singer sewing machine."

So please, be aware and be safe.  Do not assume that melting pots and wax tarts are completely fire proof.

Looking for Craft Fair Opportunities for 2011

I am beginning my search for craft fair opportunities for the 2011 year.  I have a lot of possibles for the second half of the year, but would love to participate in some the first half of the year also.  If anyone could recommend good opportunities for the 2011 year, I would appreciate it.  I prefer to stay within a 50 mile radius of Monument, CO.  Thanks so much!

Making Candles Again

It's been a few weeks since I've made candles.  It was a nice break, but I must say that it was quite nice to get back to candle-making yesterday.  I'm glad to discover that in spite of the many crazy hours I spent making candles for the craft shows, I am not burned out on making candles. :-)

Yesterday, I made new batches of Love Spell and Cranberry Spice.  I really enjoy both those fragrances very much.  I poured both of those in some of our beautiful, new Interlude jars and made more wax tarts.

Our Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with one of our candles during the first 4 hours of burn time, please do not continue to burn the candle with disappointment.  Contact us immediately, tell us the problem, and we will do our best to resolve it.  We will be happy replace the candle or refund your money.

Thank you!  We appreciate your feedback.

Black Raspberry Vanilla problems

It has come to my attention today, from multiple customers, that the Black Raspberry Vanilla scented candle has problems. For some reason, this particular fragrance is not giving a good scent throw, although it smells fantastic when not burning. This is VERY disappointing to me, and I am far from pleased with those results.

If you purchased one of these candles and are having a similar experience, please email me immediately. I want to know so I can make it right by replacing the candle with another one or giving you a refund.

If any of my customers are not very pleased with their candles, I definitely want to know right away.

We have a customer satisfaction guarantee:  If you are not completely satisfied with our candles after the first 4 hours of burn time, please do not continue to burn the candle with disappointment.  Contact us immediately, and we will replace the candle or refund your money.

I am so appreciative of the customer who contacted me today to let me know about the Black Raspberry Vanilla candle she purchased.  I was able to contact another person who also purchased the same fragrance from the same batch, and they confirmed the same problems.

Thank you!  I appreciate your feedback.
