Essential Oil Fragrance Listing - Updated December 2010

(Fragrances are 100% pure essential oils)

The following is a listing of the current aromatherapy fragrances we have available. Please contact us for pricing information.  The cost of essential oil candles varies depending on the oil and the current rate we are paying to acquire that oil

This list will be updated on a regular basis as we add more essential oils to our line.  Please check back regularly.

Essential oils are derived from real plants and fruits.  Using them on the skin or in aromatherapy, they offer physical benefits to the mind and body.  For this reason, it is important to be careful when using them.  If you are pregnant or have any serious medical conditions, it is important that you ask your doctor or get more information on the particular oil you may be thinking about using prior to any use.  Depending on the oil, you could have adverse effects.  Some essential oils may also irritate the skin.  Please do not hesitate to contact us to ask for complete informational disclosure on any of the oils we are using for candles.

The oils we currently use in our candles come from the Aura Cacia company.

Energize Blend – A blend of lemon, peppermint, rosemary, and sweet orange oils. This blend refreshes the body, energizes the mind, and revitalizes the spirit.  (May irritate the skin.)

Grapefruit – A soft, fresh, and citrus fragrance which balances, refreshes, and cheers the senses.  Obtained by cold expression of the fresh peels of the fruit.

Heart Song Blend – A blend of lavender, rosewood, geranium, and rose absolute. Soothes the body, calms the mind, and sensualizes the spirit.

Lavandin – This oil (similar to Lavender) balances, soothes, normalizes, gently clarifies, calms, and relaxes the senses.  It comes from France and is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh flowering tops.

Lavender – One of our most popular aromatherapy candles.  A sweet, fruity floral aroma.  This essential oil has calming and relaxing properties.  It soothes the nerves, can relieve tension, depression, and nervousness.  It can also be helpful in treating headaches, migraines, and insomnia.  Ours comes strictly from the Ukraine and is obtained by steam distillation from fresh flowering tops.

Lemon Eucalyptus – A fresh, strong fragrance which refreshes, invigorates, and cools the senses.  It tends to smell somewhat like citronella.  Comes from Brazil and is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves from mature trees.

Lemongrass – A very refreshing, grassy, and lemony aroma.  It cleanses, vitalizes, and stimulates the senses.  This one comes from India and is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh cut grass.

Mandarin Orange – A delightful fragrance that smells just like a Clementine.  It has uplifting, refreshing, and cheering qualities.  Comes from Italy and is obtained by cold expression of the peels of the fruit.  The oil is orange in color causing the candle to turn out a pastel, yellowish color.

Peppermint – A very clean, minty, and refreshing fragrance that smells a bit like candy canes.  This essential oil has cooling, refreshing, and stimulating properties.  It is effectively used to treat mental fatigue and depression and can help to improve concentration. It is helpful for headaches, migraines, nervousness, vertigo, faintness, and general respiratory disorders.  And works wonders clearing up stuffy sinus cavities.

Texas Cedarwood – Distilled from oil-rich heartwood, Texas cedarwood has similar properties to sandalwood at a fraction of the cost. The oil helps focus thoughts and stabilize the emotions.

Tranquility Blend – A wonderful blend of blend of lavender, balsam fir needle, patchouli, palmarosa, geranium and Roman chamomile. It relaxes the body, quiets the mind, and soothes the spirit.  Another one of our very popular aromatherapy fragrances.
